Deborah Bluemer, 61, of Reno NV has passed away and is once again a whole person, sharing her harmonious laughter with all those in Heaven. She bravely fought Alzheimer's for over five years and decided to leave this earth on her own terms on Sept. 6th 2013.
Debbie was born in Riverside CA. on July 7th 1952. She married her High School sweetheart, Robert Bluemer in 1972 and became a proud military wife. She had two children, Jennifer Lee Bluemer and Timothy John Bluemer. Debbie was fortunate enough to be able to travel the world and see more than most people do in a lifetime. She loved traveling all over Europe. She was an avid skier and hiker who enjoyed camping and being with family, she lived her life to the fullest, (she even jumped out of a plane in Germany, with a Special Forces team, twice, on a dare!) She had an infectious laugh that would set the tone for any event. She will always be remembered by others as outgoing, vibrant and popular. She was a passionate, affectionate Mother and Grandmother, a devoted and trustworthy friend, and the youngest of a trio of sisters that loved each other dearly.
She is survived by her two children, Jennifer Miller; Timothy Bluemer. Sisters, Linda Cox; Mary Cochran. Brothers, Virgil Lemley; David Lemley. Grandchildren, Sidney Miller; Nikolas Miller.
Memorial services will be held at Mountain View Mortuary on Sept. 23rd 2013 at 1pm. Reception to follow. We ask all that knew her to come share a memory and enjoy a celebration of her life.
